The Grand Bankquet Hall

Vincennes, IN
  • Up to 400 guests

  • Indoor
  • Starts at $3,500

First of all, congratulations!!! We are so glad you are interested in our event center! We are now open in the American National Bank Building, 302 Main Street. The 12,000 square foot area will easily seat 400 guests {300 on main level + 100 upstairs}; however, it is easy to make the space seem more quaint for smaller parties. We have a private parking lot in the back and the corner lot allows for ample street parking. Our elegant + industrial look is complete with a grand staircase, a "U" shaped balcony that overlooks the dance floor, a bank vault converted to a ready room, and an additional large suite/ready room with plenty of mirrors and plug-ins! The strategically placed lighting {most of which are on dimmers} will create the most perfect ambiance and decorating can be minimal!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Offers full flexibility in setup and decor
  • Blends luxury with trendiness
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Does not provide event staff
The Grand Bankquet Hall is a venue unlike any other in our area. It is an architectural beauty that the owners have meticulously curated into a gorgeous event space. It is nestled perfectly in a historic downtown setting, and can create such an elegant wedding experience. It has built in beautiful elements with the natural light that filters in from the windows, gorgeous chandeliers, and accents of retained elements from its days serving as a local bank. It comes with a complete bridal and groom suite to get ready in. It serves not only as a reception venue, but the perfect place for wedding photographs and can accommodate a wedding ceremony. Leah and her team are truly amazing and easy to work with. They continue to update and add new elements to the venue. It is such a versatile space, and can be transformed into any style of wedding that you desire. We were one of the first couples to use the space when it opened in 2019, and we could not recommend this venue more!

Look for venues offering comprehensive packages that include essentials like tables chairs and audio equipment. This approach often delivers better value than piecing services together separately.

Can Illinois Venues Accommodate Remote Wedding Participants?

While traditional venues might not explicitly advertise advanced remote participation many can adapt for hybrid events. Consider working with places like Cheney Mansion Starved Rock Lodge or Mt. Zion Convention Center to implement interactive elements beyond basic streaming.
