Hey! I’m Lara (say it like Sarah). I’m a Detroit native, but have been soaking up the gorgeous South Florida sunshine since 2014. I’m an old soul: a lot of my friends joke that I’m 30 going on 90. I love old movies, interesting traditions, crossword puzzles, Peruvian food, animals, and Harry Potter. And, ten thousand other little things…. I love traveling the world with my favorite travel buddy, my husband. We got married in 2017, and going through that process of being a bride myself gave me a fresh perspective on the art of documenting a wedding day.

With 16 years of experience photographing weddings, my approach is simple, capture the day as it happens. I'm all about telling your story, the real version. I am not intrusive and like to blend in. I want your experience to be memorable. The way I do this is to work closely with you to understand your wedding and your story to be sure I reflect you as a couple on camera. I approach each wedding with fresh eyes, as every couple are unique and no generic approach can ever be applied. I love my clients.
