Chris Barbosa is a dynamic instrumentalist and composer from the Tampa Bay Region with styles ranging from classical to jazz, and bluegrass to hip-hop. He has played as First Chair Violist with Tampa Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, and with other orchestral ensembles such as Terroir String Quartet, which was featured on WUSF 89.7, hosted by Bethany Cagle. He has studied at USF and FSU, and has collaborated on numerous projects with many phenomenal musicians such as, Gumbi Ortiz, Phil Traynor, and Christie Lenee. One such collaboration with Roy "Jazz" Grant, jazz-fusion house musician, hit the charts in Europe in 2018.
