Born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany to a German mom and British dad, travelling between countries and speaking other languages has been in my wheelhouse from a young age. After receiving my degree in hospitality management and working in the luxury hotel world for a few years I took a leap and started my own wedding planning business in Germany in 2014 which soon expanded to the UK and then more European countries. The Virtual Wedding Designer opened it's doors after our move to Jacksonville in 2023, offering classic wedding planning packages as well as virtual planning sessions and destination weddings to Europe.

I specialize in capturing engagement sessions, weddings, and anniversary sessions. While I am based in Jacksonville, Florida, I love capturing weddings across the world! I grew up in Lewiston, Maine and moved to Jacksonville, FL to attend UNF. While getting my business degree, I met Scott, the most loving & caring man in the world (so I might be a little biased). After 7 years together we got married in 2010 at the Hemingway House in Key West and the images from our wedding day are the single most important thing I have from the day (besides my hubster of course). That same year (2010) I began photographing weddings full time. In 2016 we welcomed our identical twin girls named Marley and Hazel. Now, I live my days by hugs and laughter and love to work with couples that are joyful with an adventurous spirit.

San Marco Preservation Hall, a registered historic landmark, was built in 1888 as St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Hall was moved across the St. Johns River and eventually made its way to scenic Fletcher Park on Atlantic Boulevard. I am currently active in the military. I only take on a few weddings a year because its my passion (I want to make sure the focus stays on the wedding and making it magic). This traditional colonial building was built in 1926 and known as the Riverside Mormon Church. The Junior League of Jacksonville purchased the building in 1979 and by 1980, we opened our facilities to the community and its many organizations. The Riverside House offers its board room, auditorium, reception hall and kitchen to the public. It is the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions and provides a beautiful atmosphere for any celebration.
