PARLOUR Nulu//Falls City Beer

5.0

Louisville, KY
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $300

Founded in 1905 by Ben Schrader and a group of local tavern owners and grocers, the original Falls City was formed to fight a big beer takeover in Louisville. In 1906, Otto Doerr was hired as our first brew master and our beer soon began appearing in local taverns. Shortly thereafter, a bottling plant was added and Falls City became one of the most popular breweries in Louisville, KY. The Falls City Beer Taproom in the NuLu neighborhood recently underwent transformation as PARLOUR steps in for a collaborative restaurant venture. The partnership highlights the shared commitment to quality and community between Falls City Beer and PARLOUR. Falls City Beer has been a popular choice at PARLOUR restaurants, and this venture represents a natural progression of the successful relationship between the two establishments.

Shall We Dance Ballroom was the perfect setting for our traditional, elegant wedding. It has all the features of a venue that you need, a bar space for your bartender, a back kitchen for catering staff to work in, and the entirety of the space is a dancefloor. We loved working with Shall We Dance, and even got a free dance lesson for our first dance. Communication was always timely and flexible. So many guests complimented the beauty of the venue. It intimately houses about 60-80 guests comfortably. Medium-sized weddings are perfect for this space! We loved the open caterer policy too, so we were able to book whoever we wanted to supply the food, drink, and photos. For brides looking for that classy, romantic vibe for their wedding, Shall We Dance is a great choice!

Cassie and Danny Dennis at Silent Grove were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their communication was always prompt, helpful and friendly, which made planning our wedding day a breeze. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful - very spacious, warm and intimate. They went out of their way to ensure everything was neat and taken care of, even drying the benches outside when it rained that morning. They also offered assistance for my mother, who was in a wheelchair, to easily access the outdoor area. I would highly recommend Silent Grove to any couple looking for a wonderful wedding venue with an attentive and accommodating staff. We had such a special day and would definitely use their venue again.
