My name is Eva and I started my photography business in 2017. My love for photography and capturing people started since I was in middle school. My oldest brother gifted me a camera and I would take it everywhere with me. I began organizing and storing large digital files from my photographs and am really thankful to be able to look back and have such nice memories. I'm originally from a small town outside of Syracuse, New York, and moved to NYC when I was 18 to study photography at the School of Visual Arts. Photography has been my way of understanding the world since I was young; I was given my late father's old 35mm camera as a child, with my first experiences of image-making learned through his old notes and manuals. I was hired to photograph my first weddings in high school, documenting friends parents and family members weddings, and then eventually my own friends. No matter the client, it always feels like such an honor to be asked to document some of the most tender moments in people's lives.

My name is Lauren McCarthy. My parents, photographers Wendy & Charlie McCarthy began Weefan Photography in 2001. At 11, I started watching them photograph events and weddings, and the first wedding I photographed, just as I remember my first day of school.
