Located just minutes from downtown and steps away from Forest Park, Upstairs at The Cheshire boast an incredible list of amenities and services perfect for rehearsal dinners and receptions. For smaller receptions of 40 – 70, private dining or a cocktail hour is a popular option before heading to Upstairs or Boundary.

From the ceremony to the reception, the venue's team works with couples to design an event as magical as they are. Anheuser-Busch Biergarten has indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate all event types. The German-inspired Biergarten provides a relaxing atmosphere to dine and socialize after exchanging vows. The urban style outdoor Biergarten has a updated tented roof and heating equipment to keep loved ones cozy and comfortable no matter the weather. The Outdoor Biergarten can hold up to 280 guests. Anheuser-Busch Biergarten has everything a couple might need for the special occasion. Our in house wedding coordinator handles the day of coordinating as well as additional vendor requests. At WOW Event Center we believe our guests should have the opportunity to experience the historic charm of Alton’s Riverfront District. Our venue is housed in a series of buildings dating back to the 1880’s.
