“Holly has been my hairstylist for over 3 years now, and she was the first vendor I booked for my wedding. I knew I needed her knowledge and expertise to make me look my best on the day the most photos would be taken of me. All I can say is WOW. The trial in September was beautiful, and Holly used it to test and figure out exactly how to execute what I wanted. I couldn't be more impressed and thrilled with how my hair and makeup came out. Her skills and care really shone through on my wedding day in every way, from how she carefully matched the size of my natural curls when she had to add more, to how she used light concealer on my face instead of heavy foundation to match my preferences and made sure I was comfortable. I wanted to look like myself but more on my wedding day, and thanks to Holly I really did. I'm also still impressed with how secure my flower crown was--it was pinned in place with two braids wrapped around and only two pins, and still difficult for me to remove! It didn't budge at all, even with hours of dancing! And my makeup survived all 11 hours of getting ready, photos, ceremony, photos again, and the reception even with me bursting into happy tears FIVE TIMES! Photo 1: Immediately after finishing hair and makeup Photo 2: Finished look down the aisle, everything I've ever wanted! Photo 3: A close up of my hair, all done by Holly, balayage and dye touched up 1 week before Photo 4: Post-wedding hotel photo! “Let me tell you about Miss Amber! This girl not only took amazing photos but she completely came to my rescue! I had my wedding in August, originally I had booked a photographer right at the beginning of the year around January - my photographer I had booked ended up doing what is every brides worst fear, and cancelled on me the WEEK before my wedding!! Unbelievable right! So, as any bride would do - I scoured the internet trying to find someone available and within my budget, with little to no luck with it being such short notice. Amber on the other hand, I found her in a PNW wedding group on Facebook where my mother in law had posted about needing a photographer - and this woman, dropped what she was doing flew out to Portland Oregon from Georgia, and was with me for a FULL 12 hours on my wedding day - literally start to finish. On top of that, she is very sweet and professional and definitely down played how talented she is!! When we got our sneak peek photos back on our honeymoon I quite literally had my breath taken away! The photos are absolutely gorgeous!! While their team did a great job with the bride and bridal party's makeup on the big day, I would recommend doing a trial with them first to ensure they fully understand your desired look. I was the special occasion hair specialist for Jamison Shaw Hairdressers in Atlanta Ga. for 3 years. I've traveled all over for photo shoots and weddings from NYC, Chicago, Mexico, Bermuda and Spain! I was a stylist for the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders from 2007-2011. My work has been published in the Atlantan, Jezebel magazine, Atlanta Weddings Magazine, and People magazine. My greatest accomplishment was doing the hair for all the bridesmaids and moms in Carrie Underwoods wedding.
