My name is Rogelio (Roger) Sanchez aka DJ Konkocshun. It all began while in H.S., a buddy of mine (I consider him my brother) was a DJ and I used to tag along and even help him mix some tracks. After H.S. I joined the Marine Corps and after several years, I continued to get the itch of mixing music and missed playing on the turntables. After an experience we had with another DJ for a personal event, I decided to give it a go. I love mixing different genres of music and the excitement of people enjoying themselves while on the dance floor or bobbing their heads in their seats. I practice my craft daily to present a beautiful experience.

As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.

The chapel sides can open to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 242 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Our venue is located close to modern amenities while still offering a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.
