We met in elementary school, Derek was 2 years ahead of me at a small private school where everybody knew everybody. We knew of each other for 11 years before we finally became friends 2 years after he graduated. At the time, I was in the beginning stages of my photography career and he had just filmed his first wedding. He worked up the courage to ask me out, and from that day on we were inseparable, many of our first “dates” were spent exploring new places and taking photos and videos. Photo and video was our common ground. The love for capturing the beauty of the world around us and life’s fleeting moments is what brought us together.

I have been making short films since I was a kid. They started as stories in my backyard and have evolved into work around the world. Hi, my name is Megan. It was meant to be. I got my start in the industry by doing weddings, formals and different events at just age 15 and fell in love with it and have been doing it for over 9 years! Now I am a full time bridal hairstylist and MUA and serve brides in the Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas.

We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.
