Day of coordination was perfect for us since we already had a pretty clear vision for what we wanted the decor to be and look like, we just needed someone to implement it day of and Alexis and her team did just that! They do not offer previews for the flowers if you’re doing floral but trust that they are experienced, my flowers and bouquet were absolutely beautiful and just in line with my colors! Alexis and I weren’t communicating on a weekly basis which makes sense since I hired her for just day of, but we did chat just enough to get a good grasp of what needed to be done. She met with me for the first time three months out and then a second time like 2 weeks before the day. Alexis was very patient and kind throughout the day especially when we had to make last minute changes but everything still worked out great and our wedding day was perfect. “When I heard about the Colonial at Sunset and its location, I assumed it was going to be another barn venue. Nothing wrong with barn venues, it just wasn’t our vision for our day. The entire property was our backyard wedding dream and the owners made our experience better than we could have imagined. Britt and her husband went above and beyond for us. Before we even arrived to start getting ready for the day, her husband was out front pressure washing the outdoor area where we chose to have our ceremony. I am so grateful for their hearts and the details they payed attention to so we didn’t have to worry about it or even think about it. We opted for the all inclusive package which made our experience with planning that much easier. I recall one meeting asking if I was missing anything or if there was anything more I needed to do because it all felt too easy and she assured me that with her help, that’s how it was supposed to feel. When we go through the drive thru our order can range from 100-150, but when we order a tray or two from catering, we save money and it’s a lot easier to divvy out! They always give us sauce and serving utensils AND plates and napkins. I highly recommend switching it up and trying to order through catering instead. It’s solved our “what are we doing for dinner?” conundrum multiple times.”
