She made my wedding cake—a lavender and white chocolate dacquoise (basically an exquisite, giant macaron)—and it was unforgettable. As someone who’s gluten intolerant and used to mediocre substitutes, I was blown away. It wasn’t just beautiful; it was honestly the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We got to sample some of her delicious work and talked to her about creating a unique flavor to commemorate our unique wedding. Claire took this challenge and blew it out of the water, keeping us constantly in the loop, working with our florist for the right flowers, and delivered to our venue (also in Brandon, VT) on the wedding day! We wish we could have seen her to give her a true thank you in person but amidst the festivities, we missed seeing her set up, but definitely got to reap the benefits.
