“When I was looking for floral vendors for my July 2024 wedding in Block Island, I came across Ayla’s Instagram, and I knew immediately I had to work with her. I fell in love with the whimsical, natural, English-garden vibe of her florals, and I just thought she was the coolest person. From the first conversation we had, it felt like she “got” me, suggesting flowers, designs, and concepts better than I could possibly articulate myself. She was incredibly thoughtful putting together multiple proposals that fit our vision and our budget. The entire planning process couldn’t have been easier because of how sweet, communicative, and easy Ayla was to work with.
Cut to the wedding day, and I was honestly speechless seeing her work come to life in our tent. Ayla is an ARTIST. She created a gorgeous 65 ft table runner for our head table that was so dreamy I still think about it. The bouquets were exactly what I was looking for - natural and simple but packed a stunning punch. Then there was the tent entrance installation, which was so beautiful on its own but also so thoughtfully designed to enhance the view and setting of our venue. Multiple guests came up to me on the wedding day (and even in the weeks afterwards) commenting on how the florals were some of the most unique and beautiful they had seen. I truly could go on and on. Ayla and her amazing team at shade studio exceeded every expectation a million times over. Hands down, Ayla is the best and I couldn’t recommend her more.”
