My name is Robenson Charles, and I am a Haitian born, Brooklyn raised portrait and event photographer from New York. What I do involves the best thing in the world and that's to captivate cherishable moments of life, love, and memories through photography. During this new transition in my life, I learned that photography isn't something you "do", it's something you grow into and boy did it grow! Each day I learned new techniques, researched any information on photography, and took part in classes to strengthen my skills. As a result, this new insight was birthed off of how I visualize the world's most intimate moments and turn it into art.

I am a NY-based Harpist with over 18 years of experience. I have been fortunate enough to play for dozens of professional events and weddings along the East Coast. I have performed at many different events, from weddings to corporate Holiday parties to tea parties to retirement parties. Some of the locations I have been lucky to perform include the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and The Willard Intercontinental in Washington D.C. Most recently I was selected to be a featured musician on an episode of the Drew Barrymore show!

Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer.
