In 2010, I had the privilege of photographing my first wedding in Central Park, NYC. Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.

Mia is a master in both the airbrush technique of makeup application as well as custom color formulation.

My favorite thing about being a bridal hair stylist is creating amazing relationships with my clients. With almost a decade and a half of experience, my love for my career is even stronger than ever. I spend my spare time taking classes, listening to my Bridal coaches on podcasts, and perfecting my craft.

My love for photography started at a young age in my small hometown outside of Pittsburgh. After being in public accounting for over four years, I eventually left to explore the creative fulfillment that photography has always given me. I knew immediately that being able to capture the love and joy between a couple for them to cherish for years to come, brought me the fulfillment I was searching for. As a photographer, I love natural light, authentic moments and adventurous souls. When not behind the camera, I’m forever a Harry Potter superfan and pasta addict. I’m always looking for new people and places to inspire me.

What I lacked was the God-given gift of music. As a short biography, I took a few college courses and went to work in a warehouse after high school. In a kind of wayward state, I answered a classified ad for a photography assistant for Lawrence-James Studios.

From there he started to dj on his own as he became more confident and has done many Weddings/events and still continues. He later also took more courses to learn more about djing such as scratching and live mashups, but also took courses on how to produce his own music. Dj Mcvibes now works with various dj companies and runs his own dj business.
