In 2016, Cedar Grove’s owners, Kevin and Julie Claus, were sitting on the porch of Stillwater Lodge with some friends, gazing upon their 65-acre property. With 6 cabins and 2 lodges running smoothly, it was time to start planning for their next adventure. They talked about their 3 children growing up on the property, and reminisced on how so many milestones were celebrated. With all their kids growing up, they talked about them finding love and how wonderful it would be to see them married on the property where they shared so many memories. That was the day the dream began! Kevin quickly grabbed a napkin and feverishly started scribbling sketches of a large lodge that could hold all of their friends and family, celebrating the futures of their children. In true Claus fashion, they did not let this vision pass them by, and got to working on the lodge right away.

Located in the heart of Clintonville, the Clintonville Woman’s Club is is a civic, charitable and social organization founded in 1939. The woman’s club offers a full service banquet facility to all in central Ohio at not for profit pricing.

Forget Me Knot is a unique wedding and event venue located in the scenic Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. We are also near Zaleski State Forest and Lake Hope State Park area. The venue can host all types of events and can accommodate seating for up to 150 people. The rustic nature of the building allows easy decoration for many different kinds of events. A large space beyond the hall can be used for outdoor weddings and events.

Your choice of venues, The Gardens at Jorgensen Farms and Oak Grove, rest on opposite sides of the property, with our working family farm nestled at the heart. The Gardens boast a floral, whimsical landscape with stunning meadows and sweeping views of natural beauty. Oak Grove is home to our historical, twentieth century greenhouse, offering a magical, ambient setting, surrounded by glass and natural light.

Retreat 21 provides all-inclusive services to make planning your big day a simple process. Surrounded by 64 acres of rolling meadows and lush foliage, this property offers a naturally beautiful setting. You will find a stunning selection of indoor and outdoor venue spaces. One of the most awe-inspiring areas on the property is the ceremony tree. Alternatively, you can host your ceremony at the Waterfront or inside our industrial-chic atrium. Keep the celebration going with a grand reception of up to 300 seated guests indoors. The auditorium and atrium spaces feature bright walls, natural light, and touches of greenery.

We welcome guests who are planning a wedding, family reunion, graduation, corporate outing, or any other type of celebration. We have a large tent (20 ft. x 100 ft.) on a concrete pad for outdoor events and climate-controlled restroom facilities. The restroom building also has a separate dressing room area. A large pavilion is also available to serve as an area to serve food and beverage. A pergola with a large concrete area is available for the wedding ceremony. We are constructing a 10,000 sq. ft. indoor event center with a January, 2023 estimated completion date. It will include a catering area, bar, bridal suite, additional restrooms and a large patio area next to the pond.
