“We hired Madison a few months after we booked our venue to help us execute what we envisioned for our 150ish guest wedding. We booked her partial planning package, which includes day of coordination, and added on vendor communication (typically vendor communication is taken over 4-6 weeks before the wedding, but she handled it from 6 months out). A nice bonus is that Madison has a good variety of rental items and gives her planning clients a credit toward her inventory. We utilized her inventory and she sourced anything she did not have in her collection. I had intro calls with 8 other wedding planning services and ultimately chose Madison and her team. From day one, I could see that Madison went above and beyond for her clients. She promptly replied to texts and emails (which many planners DO NOT do for partial planning clients), and scheduled regular check-in meetings to ensure we stayed on track. She was happy to schedule additional calls as needed throughout planning. I was heavily involved in the event design and planning process because I wanted to be, but Madison took the lead on the overall "project management" aspect of planning. She had a planning spreadsheet where she kept our vendor info, timeline, to do list, meeting schedule, and notes all in once place. She was extremely helpful in researching vendors and presenting me with the best options based on the criteria I gave her. If I happened to find a vendor I was interested in on my own, I would send over the link to their website and Madison took care of the inquiry, which saved me a LOT of time as a bride who also works a full-time job. Since she took care of the majority of inquiries, it was a huge relief to be able to just choose from vendors that Madison had already confirmed were available for our date. We booked our venue 9 months before our wedding and Madison took over planning with only 6 months until the wedding. Many vendors I wanted were already booked, but Madison worked really hard to find great vendors and pull off a beautiful celebration despite the constrained timeline.
On our actual wedding day, Madison and her two assistants worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate vendor arrivals, and keep the timeline moving as smoothly as possible. I did not have to answer a single call or text from a vendor the entire day, which was priceless! They also pulled off flipping quite a bit of the florals/signage/decor to the reception area right after the ceremony. We were taking photos during most of the social hour, so Madison made sure my husband and I got a latte from the coffee cart since we couldn't join the social hour ourselves. Madison had our dinner plates waiting for us at our sweetheart table before everyone else lined up. This was nice because we actually got to eat a full meal before chatting with guests. Our caterer ended up overpromising their level of service, so Madison and her team even stayed late to rinse off all the plate and flatware rentals. I was blissfully unaware of any other hiccups that happened and was glad I felt like a guest at my own wedding. I was overall pleased with how everything turned out and impressed with the amount of care and thought Madison put into our big day. Even though we were not full service clients, I appreciated that she extended herself in many ways not explicitly outlined in our contract. She is organized, easy to talk to, and very passionate about planning unforgettable weddings and events for her clients.”
