Sweet Vermont Treats is a home-based bakery located in Barre, VT providing a wide variety of sweet treats, from small orders to large scale events with rustic Vermont themed custom displays. Karli, the owner and baker, is a University of New Hampshire hospitality management alum and grew up in Central VT gaining experience while working at several popular outlets in the area. When not she's not baking she also enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new states and countries, and exploring unique restaurants and bars.

The Goose Chase Cake Design is a full service cake design and dessert company. We specialize in custom designed wedding and special occasion cakes. We also build delectable dessert tables if cake is not your style. With well tested recipes, each cake is made entirely from scratch using fresh and local ingredients. The simple ingredients of butter, sugar, flour, eggs, and cream turn into the most glorious cake layers and fillings. With well balanced layers of flavors, and a cloud like swiss meringue buttercream. We create cakes that are not too sweet and are a perfect end to a magical event.

My partner Betsy and I opened this bakery as one of our biggest dreams. We opened April 22nd 2021. And have done over 125 weddings. I've been a wedding cake decorator for over 11 years and nothing makes me happier then helping a couple make their special day perfect.

My passion is creating 3D, Gravity Defying Designs, Realism and working with fresh flowers on blank slates of buttercream or fondant (Marshmallow) to create stunning one of a kind designs!
