Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. I’d seen it on her Instagram page and was so impressed and oh man did she pull it off. I felt so natural (I’m not someone who usually wears anything but moisturizer and mascara) and to not have to wear foundation on my wedding day was such a relief. I felt so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day - and so did my bridesmaids. Jessica is worth. Every. Penny. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Our guests and even our vendors are still telling us today, months later, that this was the best wedding band that they’ve ever seen. “The best decision I made when planning our wedding was hiring Menaza, AKA ‘Superwoman’!!! My husband and I are an international couple that were looking to get married in New York and therefore needed to hire someone to assist us. Menaza’s resume and brochure was impressive! But when I spoke to her personally, we hit it off right away and hiring her was a no brainer! She was the calm I needed for my Type C/A personality! Menaza wore a million hats to help us pull off the wedding of our dreams! She handled all of the vendor bookings, contracts, logistics, and organizing of timelines. She even provided bonus services of putting together all of our florals! She created our bouquets, boutonnieres, table centre pieces and provided all the little details, like our card box, table seating mirror, welcome sign and offered to create and print our stationary. She brainstormed with us on concepts, helped us create a wedding & bar logo and accompanied us to venue visits, during our several visits to New York. Even when I had issues ordering items online, she stepped up and ordered them on my behalf! She advised on the tipping culture of the US, assisted with our marriage licence & officiant application and was open and honest about what sort of costs we should expect for certain items. Menaza researched and secured some amazing vendors for us and ensured that on our wedding day we were taken care of! (IE, I expressed to her that I really wanted sushi during cocktail hour... and while I was taking family photos she showed up with two plates stacked full of sushi with a BIG SMILE on her face! Lol) I was SOOOOO HAPPY!! One thing that stood out about Menaza over other planners we interviewed was that she was always available, we weren’t limited to a number of phone calls & contact times. I messaged her with every thought I had and within a reasonable amount of time she responded. We are still getting rave reviews on how amazing our wedding was and it would not have been possible without her. We had many family members and guests that were asking to meet her as they were so impressed!! Menaza went above and beyond to be there for us, even as she celebrated her own life’s blessings, we are forever grateful for her! HIRE HER! You won’t regret it!”

We wanted to add some jewish elements to our wedding but did not know what our options were beyond breaking the glass and the Chuppah. Rabbi Noyo was understanding and patient with us - she took the time to really get to know me and now husband, our history, what we love about one another, etc. She also encouraged us to have important, difficult conversations leading up to the wedding, which she cleverly coined as 'pillow talk'. This helped strengthen our bond and us feel completely secure and ready for our upcoming nuptials. In additional to these sessions, Rabbi Noyo also took the time to explain the various elements that could be incorporated leading up to and during the ceremony, the significance behind them, and even provided information on where to learn more/buy items. She never pressured us or made us feel badly for skipping ceremony components and even provided alternative language for blessings that felt more like us. She also provided input on our program, reviewed our vows, and even had printed copies ready for us during the ceremony. Rabbi Noyo made our wedding ceremony truly perfect. Her words during the ceremony were BEAUTIFUL, heartfelt, and funny. She knew the little things that mattered (including setting expectations ahead of the ceremony, moving to the side for the kiss, etc.) and helped everyone feel so comfortable. She gave clear instructions to the guests and helped make sure that the special moments worked seamlessly. She encouraged our love to shine through and facilitated an absolutely gorgeous ceremony. Our guests are even still talking about how amazing the Rabbi was and asking where to find her. Rabbi Noyo made our wedding exactly the way we wanted it to be, and I know she will do the same for you. Hire her! You will not regret it :)”

When my wife and I decided to get married, one of our biggest concerns as a T4T couple was finding a photographer who was someone that could make us both feel comfortable showing up as our authentic selves. I’ve known Brooke for over 10 years and have always known they were an amazing human being inside and out, so when I discovered that she was diving into wedding photography (this was back in 2019) I knew exactly who to go to. When it comes to our trans identities, unlike many wedding vendors who just treat that like some major issue or something they need to be like “stepping on glass” to deal with, Brooke handled our wedding with nothing but the uttermost respect, dignity, ease and kindness. In addition to being queer friendly, she also is just so amazing at making you feel good behind the camera. My wife and I are extremely awkward picture takers and I was so worried that’s what you would get from our photos. But that was NOT even remotely the case. We adored the outcome of our photos because we just look so naturally happy and in love. The photos still, even now, bring so much joy to my heart when I look at them. They will probably be my forever background photos on my phone so I can always see them for that reason. “It was great to work with Michelle and her team. She was very professional, got along with all of the guests and the staff at the venue. She traveled to our hotel and to the venue with no complaints. Michelle and her team captured our wedding beautifully, from the getting ready photos, the ceremony and the reception! I love all the candids, the camera and picture quality are amazing. Everyone was able to tell that Michelle works very diligently and cares about the work she puts out. She sent the photos to us in a very timely manner and was communicative throughout the whole process. I love how at the time of booking, we had to schedule a consultation just for her to get to know us. It was camera’s on so we were all able to get a feel for who each of us would be working with. The exercise she had us do, when we needed to choose the pictures we love the best, of us during our relationship to assess if we would be a mutual fit, in terms of her working style was super cool because it showed us that she wants to make sure she meshes well with her clients. “Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”
