Why you'll love this venue

  • Handles all cleanup logistics
  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
Choosing Samuel’s as our venue was the best decision we ever made. Right from the beginning we fell in love with the space, we even moved our wedding date up from October to August so we could take full advantage of the outdoor fountain bar. There are no words to be able to fully describe how wonderful working with Mark was – he answered all of our questions, took us on as many tours as we wanted, and really made us feel confident in our decision. The planning process was very stress-free on our end which made it so much easier to enjoy. Renea was our captain on the day of and thanks to her everything ran so smoothly and on schedule. She took my scribbles of centerpieces and transformed the space into something more beautiful than I could have imagined. I spent the whole day on-site thanks to the beautiful bridal suite, which helped our timeline significantly, and provided a quiet space to be able to relax and take in every moment. Bonus – there was a groom’s suite as well! Samuel’s worked seamlessly with our other vendors as well and we were able to drop off our items earlier in the week so there was one less thing to worry about the weekend of. Then there was the food – absolutely incredible. From the cocktail hour appetizers to the main courses, everything was perfectly timed and delicious. They even accommodated our request to have some of the cocktail hour appetizers brought to the bridal suite so we could have a moment to ourselves and enjoy the food as well. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding day and we owe it all to the team at Samuel’s!

The Chalet At East Hill Creamery
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Perry, NY
  • Up to 184 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

Our venue, The Chalet at East Hill Creamery, completed in 2017, is an impressive example of local craftsmanship with Alpine influences. Owners Gary and Betty Burley knew they wanted to create an event space for the community that incorporated the natural beauty of the lumber from their land and the bright openness you can only get in the country-side. Featuring Amish post-and-beam construction in red oak, hemlock, and white pine and huge colonial windows, our venue offers a lovely balance of woodsy charm and modern sophistication.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has an energetic and exciting atmosphere
  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No free parking
The Chalet At East Hill Creamery was the perfect wedding venue for our special day. From the beginning, the staff's thorough and easygoing communication style put us at ease throughout the planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a large and spacious layout that accommodated all of our guests comfortably. They truly made everything super easy for my husband and I, allowing us to fully enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about a single detail. We are so grateful to the team at The Chalet At East Hill Creamery for helping to make our wedding day an unforgettable celebration.
