Hello! My Name is Mary Winford. I am a DC wedding photographer who loves shooting weddings in Washington DC, but I shoot other places as well. I'm always excited to explore a new area. I was born and raised in North Carolina. I now live in Fredericksburg Virginia. It was a big change considering I've lived in North Carolina all my life, but I still travel back and forth to see my family. I am happy I have many awesome pictures to look back at when I miss them. Family and sharing memories with the people I care about is so important to me. That's one of the reasons why photography is so important to me.

I began my photography career learning from some phenomenal artists all over the country. I spent time with them learning and honing my craft. After making my mark in the corporate field crafting engagement content I began covering local events for The Free Lance-Star where I still occasionally freelance. I have been shooting weddings for the last couple years and I love every minute of it! I am a hawk for real moments of love, feeling, and joy. I take great pride in my work and giving back to my community.

In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! By using WOOD flowers, we are able to custom dye & arrange them to give a bride more versatility. I am so honored to be a small part of a bride’s special day!

My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. By the time she was three years old, Olivia Claggett was asking for a harp teacher. At six years old, she began taking piano lessons with Jean Wonders, and at eight she began Suzuki harp lessons with professional harpist, instructor, and adjudicator Candyce Dunham. She never looked back after her first lesson in October 2007. During her many years as a student, Olivia continued to push herself musically by competing in numerous competitions winning the annual Buckeye Christian School Organization’s spring competition for five consecutive years.
