I was that bride that no one wants to be. I was young and had no clue when it came to planning a wedding. I chose a wedding photographer that someone suggested and not necessarily that I loved. Then it happened. My wedding photos came back and were awful. Fifteen years later, they are still awful. From that day on I thought, never again. My role as a photographer continues to push me as a creative, learning how to chase light effectively and giving you images that you'll adore. YOU are my inspiration! Despite being behind the camera for nearly a decade, I am still always doing exciting new things with my couples. I don’t want to give you an average experience. Hi! I'm Sydney, a light and joyful metro Detroit based wedding/engagement photographer for madly in love couples. Without boring you with too many details, this whole photography thing started in high school. I learned on a film camera and how to work in a darkroom and then on a DSLR. I haven't looked back since. My love for weddings and couples came around not too long before I got engaged and started planning my own wedding! Now, here I am a full time into wedding photographer getting ready to marry the love of my life and I can't wait to get you and yours in front my camera!

Ray earned his Bachelors Degree in Photography from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. He first began photographing weddings in 1992 in the midst of also pursuing a promising career in Hollywood as a cameraman. Photographing weddings as an associate photographer for many accomplished photo studios, he finally began Ray Anthony Photography in 2002 in Michigan. Ray has become one of Metro Detroit's most reputable photographers and has earned "preferred vendor" status at many of the top venues in the area. Not restricted to Michigan only, Ray has been commissioned to photograph weddings all over the country and abroad.

Hello! I’m an easy going fun loving person. I enjoy parting with my couples and just having a blast! I have two wild and crazy kids along with our two dogs brownie and maisie. we are always on the go. Camping in our rv water park zoo anywhere to have a good time. I started weddings because it is my happy space and i give it my all. Sometimes you can catch me me on the dance floor or crying in the background during day.
