How do I control who’s invited to an Event? And how can I control who RSVPs to an Event?

Setting up your RSVPs is easy on Zola!

To select guests from your existing guest list:

  1. Go to your Guest List.
  2. Click the Invite Guests to Events option from the dropdown menu:screen_shot_2021-02-04_at_12.57.39_pm.png
  3. Check off all events that each guest is invited to (we'll automatically save your choices).


Whenever you add or edit guests in your Build Guest List tab, this will automatically update for each of your individual guests. When you click on a guest's entry you'll see a section at the bottom of the Edit Guest Page labeled Events Invited To with all of your wedding events (see the red circled section below). You can also update the events you'd like your guest(s) to attend here.


If you'd like your guests to RSVP online to the events they're invited to, go to your Events tab and select an event you want to edit. Scroll down to Website Settings and switch the second toggle to Yes to let invited guests RSVP to that event on your site (see the red circled section below). Even if it's a private event, your selected guests can RSVP online.


Working from the app?

Tap into the Guests + RSVP icon on the home screen of the app > then tap into the Events tab > tap into the event you want to edit and go to the Attendees tab. You'll be able to check off which guests you want to invite to that event from there. img_2083.png
