FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We already have two of everything we need and the only gift we hope for is the gift of your presence in Ketchikan to celebrate with us. If you are still hoping to gift us more than that, we would love art, (handmade stuff from you? One of your favorite locals artist’s print? A painting for us from a 3 year old? Yes please!), and there are also travel gift cards and donation options available on this website under the registry tab. If you're viewing on mobile device, check the drop down menu. Thank you!!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside on a rocky beach, likely in the wind and rain. It will probably be in the 40’s. So wear what you will feel warm and dry in, waterproof shoes are a good idea, and layers often make the most sense. There will be photos and you can go to the “Schedule/What to wear” tab to see a picture of our colors if you’d like to wear one of those, though not necessary.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Please just let us know ASAP so that we can have an accurate count.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yep! Lots of kids will be at the reception, there will be a kid area, kid food/snacks, and some toys/fun stuff. Kids are also welcome at the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There is a shuttle from Cape Fox Lodge at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm that will take you to the ceremony site (Refuge Cove). There will then be a shuttle after the ceremony back to Cape Fox Lodge. One of which will be a scenic tour of Ketchikan.
