Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are supporting us as we take our first steps in this journey together.

Jordan Reese

Bride

I grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, a town on the shore of beautiful Lake Michigan known for SC Johnson-a family company, J.I. Case, and most importantly, Danish Kringle (google it and prepare to salivate). After college, I attended graduate school in Minnesota before moving to Colorado in the spring of 2017. I quickly fell in love with my new home and have no intentions of leaving. That said, this nice Midwest girl still misses good brats, squeaky cheese curds, and Sundays watching the Packer game with family.

Brian Sundermann

Groom

I proudly hail from Northern New Jersey in the suburbs of NYC, home of the world's greatest pizza, bagels, and scowls. After finishing college in Ithaca, New York, and working for Outward Bound in Baltimore, I was ready for a new adventure. I moved to Colorado in December 2016 and found my dream job running a climbing facility. On the very first tour I gave of said facility, the very first person I met was Jordan. The rest is history.

John Reese

Father of the Bride

In a previous life, John's job was to oversee employee health and safety at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Since retiring, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, volunteering with the Boy Scouts to conduct Eagle Scout Boards of Review, and traveling to as many national parks as he can. Like me, he's a bit of a science nerd.

Robert Sundermann

Father of the Groom

Robert (Bob) is a financial advisor by day and a weekend warrior adventurer. An accomplished sailor, paddler, and hiker, he fostered my curiosity for adventure from a young age. Also, he definitely knows how to tie more knots than you do.

Janice Reese

Mother of the Bride

Janice (Jan) was most recently a technical writer but has started dabbling with retirement. If she isn't helping coach her grandson's baseball team, you'll find her cheering in the stands, playing with her granddaughter, tornado spotting, or traveling around the US with John.

Diane Sundermann

Mother of the Groom

Diane can often be found volunteering on behalf of local families in need, performing Reiki as a certified practitioner, or hosting wine and cheese parties on the front porch. Please direct all inquiries related to mindfulness, wellness, and Reiki to Diane.

Amy Rymaszewski

Maid of Honor

Amy and I have been friends since our undergraduate days at UW-Milwaukee. It's been so long that neither of us can remember exactly which class we had together that sparked our friendship. Over the years she has definitely been my voice of reason and is one of the first people I reach out to when I need advice.

Ethan Solomon

Groomsman

I met Ethan at Ithaca College in 2010, and we've been good friends ever since. Ethan now lives close by in Fort Collins with Guillermo, arguably the coolest cat ever. In addition to being extraordinarily compassionate in his work with kids with disabilities, he is a master of all things nerdy: comic books, board games, kung fu, Magic cards, etc. and is also becoming an accomplished climber.

Regina Pencille

Bridesmaid

Regina and I met while climbing in Minnesota. She is an amazing EBD teacher and has one of the biggest hearts. She welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of her family during one of the most challenging moments in my life. Since moving to Colorado, we've had many opportunities to meet up in various locations for more climbing adventures.

Andrew Hicks

Groomsman

Think of the nicest person you know. Now multiply that by at least five. That's Andrew, who I met at Ithaca College in 2009. Andrew has bent over backwards for all of us in our times of need at a moment's notice. Be sure to meet him, especially if you like baseball! He's attended games at 24 of 30 MLB stadiums.

Krista Bengtson Cook

Bridesmaid

Krista and I began our friendship at ÜG when I noticed her husband (Jeffrey) wearing a Minnesota t-shirt. I struck up a conversation only to find out that they had moved to Colorado a few weeks before I had! Not only is Krista a kick ass paralegal, she has a wicked green thumb, and a quick sense of humor. I especially appreciate how we bring out each other's Midwest accent!

Chris Fatta

Groomsman

I met Chris in 2009 at...you guessed it...Ithaca College. As fellow Jersey boys, our brash and sarcastic sensibilities meshed immediately. Chris lives in Freehold, New Jersey with his fantastic wife Diana. If you're not having enough fun at the reception, hang out with Chris for ten minutes.

Jeffrey Bengtson Cook

Officiant

Jeffrey is one of those all around good guys that you can go to for anything. He's knowledgeable, funny, and well spoken. In fact, some of our favorite memories are what we call "Jeff and Krista story time." He's also very hard working and dedicated...he completed a full Ironman in 2019 and had planned on doing both a half and a full Ironman in 2020 but was thwarted by COVID!
