From the airport there are lots of transportation options available including: the light rail, a freeway flyer shuttle, uber/lyft, or any of a myriad of rental car companies.

Renting a car at the airport might pose a problem. Therefore, it's a good idea to start looking sooner rather than later and consider alternative options such as Turo. Through the app, you can rent a personal vehicle from a local resident instead of from one of the rental car chains.

RTD

You can take the Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus from DIA to Boulder (Route AB). The route makes several convenient stops in Boulder. Buses leave every ~60 minutes with a travel time of ~80 minutes. RTD has an information booth on the baggage claim level of the Main Terminal. The schedule and route information can be found on RTD's website (select Route AB/AB1/AB2). Tickets are paid directly to the driver upon boarding the bus in cash with exact fare only ($10.50 for one-way tickets). Uber has now partnered with RTD making it easier to pay for your trip with the app.
