Airbnb and VRBO are popular rental sites in Charleston. This option may work well for families or groups of friends planning to take a longer trip & wanting more space. We love the following areas: -Downtown Charleston - historical and very convenient. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. -Folly Beach - a laid-back atmosphere with restaurants, shops, and fishing pier along Center Street. Just a short drive or Uber ride to downtown. There are also great waves at the Washout if you are looking to catch a surf! -Isle of Palms - Another beach very close to downtown. The island’s home to family beach houses and condos, ice cream shops and restaurants, a marina, Wild Dunes Resort, and good SUP paddleboarding on the waterway side. -Mount Pleasant - Shem Creek is a popular spot with restaurants lining the waterway. It's just a short drive over the Ravenel bridge to downtown. *We do have a room block available at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown if you would like a hotel stay.

The Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Charleston has a beautiful waterfront view of the Charleston Harbor. The hotel overlooks the Ashley Marina by the banks of the Ashley River and is in the heart of downtown Charleston. For your convenience, we have reserved rooms at a discounted rate Friday, March 22nd through Sunday the 24th. If you would like to stay longer than the room block, please contact the front desk directly. You may use the link (the button that says "View") to reserve your room, or you may give the hotel a call and say that the wedding is for the Andersen / Robison wedding. *There is a complimentary shuttle service to the Charleston Historical District, just 1.5 miles away from the hotel. A great way to get you to our ceremony on March 23rd, or to explore downtown during your free time.
