FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Semi-formal

Question

Will there be a religious ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Kyle and Sara will be receiving the sacrament of matrimony in the Catholic Church. They will be celebrating a full mass, which should take about an hour. During Holy Communion, non-Catholic guests or those not prepared to receive may come forward for a blessing from the priest, with arms crossed over their chests, or may choose to stay seated and silently express good thoughts or prayers for the couple.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors with air conditioning. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors while the reception hall is being prepared, however the area will be covered with shade and fans.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from The George and Cavalry Court Hotels to St. Mary's for the ceremony. After the mass, transportation will be provided from St. Mary's to Peach Creek Ranch. It will not be stopping again at the hotel block.

Question

Who can take the provided transportation?

Answer

Anybody who wants to! If you are staying at The George or Cavalry Court Hotels, the shuttle bus will pick you up and drop you off next to the hotels. If you are not staying at the hotel block but want to take the shuttle to the ceremony, you may park in the free parking garage at Century Square. Allow ample time to find a spot in that garage as it can fill up. We ask that you please do not park your cars overnight in the St. Mary's parking lot.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking for the ceremony. If you wish to drive, you can navigate to 300 Nagle Street for the St. Mary's parking lot. There is also ample parking at Peach Creek Ranch. Transportation is also available for all guests, so check the travel and schedule pages for more details!

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post any photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly request that you do not take any photos or videos. An unplugged ceremony will ensure our photographers get the best photos possible, as well as respecting the dignity of the Mass. Feel free to as many pictures and videos as you would like during the reception and upload what you desire to social media!

Question

What is the mask policy?

Answer

Masks are not required for the ceremony or reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless specifically addressed in your invite, no dates please.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! You will be able to note this on your RSVP.
