Travel

We know that for many, Vail is a long way from home, and we appreciate those traveling both near and far to celebrate with us! We've arranged hotel rooms, condos, cabins, and glamping tents and have provided transportation information to help in making your travel plans.

Travel Note

TRAVELING TO VAIL

You can arrive to Vail by flying into either Denver International Airport in Denver, CO or Eagle County Regional Airport in Eagle, CO. Denver International is located approximately 2 hours east of Vail (www.flydenver.com). Eagle County Airport is located approximately 35 minutes west of Vail (www.flyvail.com). You can rent a car or reserve shuttle services from either airport to Vail - we recommend Epic Mountain Express as a nice, reliable option. Once in Vail, there is a free town shuttle and we'll provide transportation to and from the wedding. You may want a vehicle if you plan to enjoy other activities throughout the Vail Valley or wish to "glamp" at Piney following the wedding.

Travel Note

ACCOMMODATIONS IN VAIL

Updated 9/6/2019 The Marriott, Landmark, and Montaneros are next to each other in the center of Lionshead Village. The Landmark will be the center of activity, and where vans will load guests for the trip to Piney Saturday at 2:30 pm. You may wait in the lobby area prior to boarding. We've also blocked the glam tents and cabins at Piney on September 21st and are free to guests wanting to stay after the wedding. See details below. There are other accommodations available in all price ranges. Parking will be at a premium in Vail due to their annual "Taste of Vail" festival Saturady evening, so try to find one w/parking. If you arrive Saturday and are unable to check in to your accommodations early, take the provided vans up to the wedding venue at 2:30 where changing rooms will be available.
