There is a good chance the Aspen trees will be changing, so be sure to take a walk or drive and check out the foliage in the area. The road up to the wedding may have some amazing color as well! We've included some of our favorite fall activities in the Vail area, and check with the concierge at your hotel for other special events and happenings while you are here.

If you have a car, Hanging Lake is about an hour west of Vail and is one of Taylor and Moriah's favorite hikes. It's a moderate to challenging hike (3 miles and 1,000 feet elevation gain), but the crystal clear lake at the top is worth it! Vail has many hiking trails right on the mountain - Berry Picker is a favorite.
