Jesse is Romel’s younger brother brother in every sense. You read that right - brother twice - since he is both literally Romel’s blood and also a fraternity brother. They are four years apart which shaped them and forged a strong bond early on. Romel is also the reason Jesse became a proud dog dad to Noah. Jesse's favorite go-to response is "That's hot!"

Morgayne and Krysta met at cheer tryouts at OBU during their senior year of high school. Their time together on the cheer squad was short, but the friendship they forged has spanned 15 years! Morgayne is a fantastic hiking buddy, lover of a good beer or party in Mexico, and an incredible mom to Sam!
Mathew Gutierrez

Despite being the youngest brother, Mathew insists on calling Romel his “little brother” because he is slightly taller. He is currently studying to be an electrical engineer. Known for his appetite and love of all things Japanese, Mathew always brings nonstop humor and energy.
Yazmin Camp

Officially, Yazmin is married to Krysta’s brother, but she has truly become a sister. She spends her days running the family dog training business with Michael all while handling being an amazing mom and keeping a funny quip close at hand to make Krysta laugh. Originally from Australia, she moved to the US for love.

Krysta's older brother may have made fun of her constantly as kids, but they've forged a true relationship as adults. Now he makes fun of Krysta with Romel. Michael is dad to MJay, husband to Yazmin, and accomplished business owner. If he ever offers to order "calf fries", Romel cautions you to politely refuse.

United as 'twins' in their sorority, Chloe opened her heart and quite literally her apartment door anytime Krysta needed it. You'll catch Chloe running a faster marathon than all of us and then still being late to brunch after because her high profile political boss had a fake emergency.

Marlon has been one of Romel’s closest childhood friends. They grew up in the same building, with parents who were best friends. They were together constantly and often getting into all sorts of trouble. Despite living far away now, their bond is still as strong as the first bacon, egg, and cheese they ever shared… just kidding, Marlon doesn’t share food.

Krysta's big in her sorority, Natalie is one of the best friends a girl could ask for. From hiking their way across the Hudson Valley, picking a lot of apples each fall, to laughing at questionable modern art, Natalie has been a pillar in Krysta's life over the years! These days, Natalie is making the world better as a therapist and mom!

Known as “Little,” he has always been a loyal friend. As a kid, he spent countless hours playing video games with Romel. Little loves tres leches cake, refuses to take pictures, and all of his photos are selfies. Despite being allergic to cats, he’s now the proud owner of one and has a wonderful wife and baby girl.

United as teachers at Dream, Tasia grew to be one of Krysta’s most supportive friends and the person to go to if you need a solution to a problem. Tasia can usually be found exploring the world or balancing a million projects and keeping a smile through it all.

Phillip has been one of Romel’s closest friends since high school. He loves reality TV, always shows up with the best Halloween costumes, and has an awesome dog named Busta. Let him take you to a bar and it’s a 50/50 chance you’ll either find heaven or regret it immediately.

Don-Michael was the glue that held the 9th grade team together when he and Krysta worked at Dream Charter High School, and he has remained a source of faith, hope, and deep laughter in the years since. Don-Michael is a talented stage actor, committed english teacher, and new dad who especially enjoys an oreo.

Known as JAR and the life of any party—especially when shots are involved. If you invite him somewhere, he’ll immediately ask what’s on the menu, and if he doesn’t like it, he’s heading straight for Popeyes. In high school, you'd catch him and Romel grabbing a slice after class. If you ever need to find JAR, just yell “Yeeeerrrr.”
