Nika and Rob met nearly nine years ago, at a time when they were both just finding their footing in the world. Rob was 23, fresh out of college and working his first job outside Philadelphia, and Nika was 19, still in school at Philadelphia University. Of all places, their story began on Bumble. Rob was the first person Nika ever spoke to and went on a date with from a dating app. One swipe, one date, and everything changed. From the beginning, it felt effortless. Conversation flowed, comfort came instantly, and both walked away thinking the same thing: this just feels right. Over the years, they’ve grown up together through every season of life — graduating, changing careers, moving in together, adopting their dog Milo after a spontaneous 16-hour drive to Ohio, buying a home, creating traditions, and eventually moving from Pennsylvania to Arizona. What began as something easy grew into something lasting: a partnership rooted in friendship, trust, and choosing each other every day. Now, they’re excited to continue whatever comes next — hand in hand.
