Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Sara Putnam and Kyle Watkins
Meet the people we can't live without - so naturally, we are making them stand next to us while we kiss.

Maggie Logvin

Maid of Honor

My one and only. The sister I'd chose in any lifetime, despite how much we annoy each other or how often she steals my clothes. Five years older than me (but she likes to pretend we look the same age) Maggie has been my built in best friend my whole life, although she will probably tell you it wasn't until we were teens that she actually started to like me. Between rolling our eyes at things moms say, speaking in abbreviations that only we understand, or obsessing over Justin Bieber forever, I wouldn't be the woman I am today if I didn't grow up with Maggie as my sister. To top it off, she gave me my noodle of a nephew (Logan) who I also love endlessly.

Ellery Castillon

Bridesmaid

Kyle's only sister, and just 17 months older than him, Ellery has always been a close friend to her little brother and an important fixture in his life. As luck would have it, that bond would transcend to our relationship and while we are quite different, the sisterly love was evident from the get-go. While I hate reading and numbers and Ellery is a math teacher who willingly reads books for FUN on the weekends, we've found a bond through a shared love of family, making fun of Marty, cute workout clothes (and shopping in general), and adoration for each other. The little sister I never knew I needed, Ellery is the cherry on top of getting to marry Kyle.

Devin Kingdon

Bridesman

Anyone who’s been around Devin and me together might struggle to put it into words. As two Aquariuses, our ridiculously similar sense of humor and way of thinking can leave us laughing for hours—sometimes just by looking at each other—which definitely makes people around us question our sanity. We met at work back in 2016, and since then, we’ve built this inseparable bond rooted in our shared love for poking fun at work drama, finding creative ways to make our partners uncomfortable, and spending hours watching 2000s pop music videos while making TikToks.

Brittany Hershkowitz

Bridesmaid

From the Golden Globes red carpet to her couch with a pizza and reality TV, Britt and I have done it all together. Becoming best friends while she was my boss isn't for everyone. In fact, most people are shocked we were able to make it work while being so close for 7+ years, but that is exactly what makes Britt so special. One of the hardest working, smartest and most driven people I know, Britt always finds a way to put her friends and loved ones first. I credit where I am today in my career largely to her mentorship and eerily precise way of knowing what I am capable of before I know for myself. The fact that she throws dinner parties and always makes sure I have enough vegan options made from scratch is a big plus, too.

Marcy Carmena

Bridesmaid

Marcy is one of those people that you can talk to for hours and wonder where the time went. Although she was unsure of me when we first met while working together shortly after I moved to LA (mostly because of my adoration for the Kardashians and lack of a filter), I was lucky enough to change her mind through pilates classes, watching The Bachelor together and a mutual respect for a good vodka martini. One of the most selfless women and best listeners I know, Marcy is someone I can always count on for the big things in life, or when I can't figure out why my hair is falling out.

Maureen Cassani

Bridesmaid

Maureen is my oldest childhood friend, which I like to remind everyone of whenever we are together :) Best friends since we were 5 years old, Maureen came on almost every family vacation, stopped over every holiday and witnessed me throughout my many obsessive phases most prominently including Jessica Simpson. While Maureen's more laidback personality would seemingly clash with my lack there of, she always had a way of putting me in my place in the most honest, yet gentle way making us inseparable throughout our childhood years. Ever since I first starting thinking about marriage as a 7th grade girl, I always told Maureen she would one day be a bridesmaid, and here we are.

James Watkins

Best Man

The oldest of the Watkins boys and one-half of my Best Men. I can credit James for bringing two of the most important things in to my life - Liverpool FC and the Oregon Ducks. I can also thank James and his wife, Adrienne, for making me an uncle with the cutest little boy, Milo. James lives in Seattle now and stays busy by helping Amazon slowly take over the world, one rocket at a time. James has been my most reliable and honest source for advice on career decisions and big-life moves, perfectly fulfilling his role as big brother!

Garrett Watkins

Best Man

The second-oldest Watkins brother and the other one-half of my Best Men. Garrett continued the legacy of the Watkins boys attending UO, though his college experience may have been a bit different than mine, spending 90% of his time living in the Architecure School building and the other 10% falling in love with his then-roommate and now-wife, Morgen. Garrett and Morgen live in southwest Colorado now and come early-May will be adding a beautiful little baby girl to this growing family!

Kiernan Gillooley

Groomsman

Kiernan is the friend in the group who gets picked on the most and to be fair, it's completely warranted; and there's no one Kiernan receives friendly fire from more than Sara. Kiernan and I were in the same fraternity family so we were sort of forced to be friends, but I'd say it worked out just fine having now lived together in 3 different places, including approximately a 1-month stint in Austin, TX. Kiernan now lives in the Bay Area, bringing home automation and audio-visual to the Silicon Valley elite with his company, Levine's Lights. This is not free marketing by the way; Kiernan, venmo me for this please.

Zac Sippel

Groomsman

Yet another Duck in this Bridal Party, Zac and I met upon joining our fraternity together in the Spring of 2018. Zac has always been one of my closest friends since college, maybe that's because he shares my taste for country music, or it's just because our bedrooms were about 30 feet from one another. I was lucky enough to stand up at the alter with Zac when he and his college sweetheart, Mary Claire, tied the knot last May. Zac and Mary Claire now live in the Bay Area, where he works as an Area Manger overseeing nurse staffing services for school districts throughout the Bay (yes Zac, I stole that language from your LinkedIn).

Holden Thesing

Groomsman

Another one of the six Oregon Ducks in this crew, Holden and I also met upon rushing our fraternity in the Spring of 2018. My favorite thing about Holden is his inability to ever agree with anything I say; it's one of his most consistent talents. Holden is one of those friends who I could go years without seeing and when we finally see each other, the first words out of his mouth will be "Sup". He survived a year of living with Kiernan, Zac and I, a feat potentially even more impressive than his ability to finish marathons. Holden lives in Portland with his girlfriend, Taylor, currently working as a Demand Planner for Tillamook. No, he can't get you free ice cream; trust me, I've tried.

Grayson Romig

Groomsman

Let's just share the elephant in the room: Grayson is a Manchester United fan, so everyone please be extra gentle and kind to him when you see him. Grayson and I met in 2010 when we picked him up as a near-stranger to guest play for the Red Devils in the annual Fort Bragg soccer tournament. From country concerts and soccer tournaments to graduations and all the big life moments, this guy has been my best friend for nearly 15 years. I had the honor of standing up at the alter with Grayson a couple of years back for his wedding, and I'm so happy he'll now be up there with me for mine. Grayson lives in Rocklin with his wife, Cassidy, where he currently serves the community with local law enforcement.

Devin Castillon

Groomsman

Devin is now officially my brother-in-law after marrying my sister, Ellery, last May. I will always appreciate Devin as he has successfully filled in as my Dad's local best friend and Rocklin Football companion after I officially moved out some years ago. Devin enjoys spending his free time watching Steelers football with a Root Beer in hand, while simultaneously sending me memes through Facebook Messenger (who still uses that anyways?). Devin and Ellery live in Rocklin with their pup, Penny Lane, and we're so excited to have them both up at the alter with us on our big day!

Logan Rivera

Ring Bro

Sara's one and only nephew, Logan is her forever angel baby, and now at almost 11 years old, he'd be mortified to read that. He loves his VR headset, karate, swimming, playing with his wild orange cat, Pacheco (yes, named after a Chiefs player - you can thank Maggie for that) and pulling pranks on his favorite Uncle Kyle. While we had to convince him for over a year (with a little bribery) to play the role of Ring Bro, Sara couldn't imagine this day with out the boy who made her an Auntie Say Say.
