The first step in planning a proposal: ask the parents for permission! Kyle's secret 8-hour trip to Eugene was well received, with a thumbs up from the soon-to-be mothers-in-law!

"Are you serious?!" "Are you kidding?!" were the only things we can remember Sara saying through hyperventilation and tears. The moment that started the rest of our lives.

It was a resounding "YES!!!" (once she was able to articulate words). "Okay now hold still so I can put the ring on your finger" - Kyle

Wine tasting the day after getting engaged. On a love so high, it was the best weekend of our lives.

It only took 3+ years for our parents to meet IRL. Not sure what we were more nervous about: Marty being Marty, or the 105+ temeratures in Rocklin that weekend.

In Eugene for the Holidays and had our first engagement party with all of our favorite Oregon people.
