Best Man
Kevin and Vincent ("Cenz") met while studying abroad in Milan, Italy in 2010. Kevin quickly learned that Vincent spoke better Italian than he did, so what started out as a survival friendship turned into a brotherhood. The two have helped each other through countless breakups, moves, deaths of loved ones, and hangovers. Vince has become an honorary member of the Fish family and has been planning for this moment over the past decade.
Best Man
If you thought that Paul was the most ridiculous person in the room, just wait until you meet Jeff Bruce. Jeff and Paul have been inseparable since college (despite living on opposite coasts) and have several years worth of concerts, talent shows (of which NO original songs are allowed to be played at this wedding…), trips, keg parties and Pride events under their belts. Jeff will always be the first person to make Paul hysterically laugh while everyone else rolls their eyes.

As the youngest of 5 fish kids, and the only girl, Christina has always been Kevin's relentless confidant and champion. When they're not competing to be a hotter mess than the other, they're probably impersonating their mother or drinking wine. Often mistaken for twins, their shared love for Titanic, Harry Potter, and Jurassic Park barely scratches the surface of their similarities.
Groomsman
Despite being four years younger than Paul, Vincent actually owns property, is good at sports, and beat Paul to the punch on getting married! Vincent has been Paul’s surprisingly patient Guinea pig for science experiments, a frequent runner-up in Crash Team Racing, and of course a subject of some good old fashioned brotherly torture.
Groomsman
Despite Max not responding to Kevin’s advances via OkCupid over 10 years ago in Boston, Kevin found a way into his heart. Through breakups, graduations, broken ankles, and being roommates, these two have been there for each other through quite a bit. Whether it’s his innate people observation skills or just their intrinsic Masshole connection, Max always understands Kevin unlike anyone else.
Groomsman
Jerry might not have actually been in the band, but you’d never know it based on how often he showed up to Paul’s social functions with a cowbell in hand. Provided Jerry hasn’t fallen asleep on the couch, he’s always ready with car advice or a smooth glass of Whisky. Jerry and Paul are part of the dual degree club (went to both Lehigh and UVA together) and they’ve been from Miami to California fighting “robobots” together.

Kevin met Madeline during their first few days at Duke and instantly fell in love with her sense of humor, nap regimen, and loyalty. When they weren’t getting lost, they were sneaking out of parties to go to bed. Madeline and Kevin spent an unforgettable summer living together in DC for their internship and it went so well that they decided to live together with Max upon moving there after graduation. Although Madeline lives in NYC now, she crashes in Paul and Kevin’s guest room (what feels like) daily.
Groomsman
Antoin’s been one of Paul’s closest friends since band camp freshman year, and only because he wanted some of Paul’s twizzlers. Their relationship grew into a “dynamic duo” at Lehigh where they wrote music together and were the primary destroyers of their off-campus house (sorry not sorry, Cindy!). Antoin has always been at Paul’s side for advice, a hearty (read: room-shaking) laugh, or tips on how to retire at age 35 and live off nothing but credit card points.
Groomsman
Brian "Krebz" Krebs has been one of Kevin's chosen "sisters" since his DC intern summer in 2016 when Krebz took Kevin under his wing. Between pool days on the AP roof, trips to Ptown, and even as roommates for a year, there's always enough rose to ensure that Krebz and Kevin "always have a good time!"
Groomsman
Despite the rigors of grad school, Heimir made sure to save room for a little (alright, a lot) of fun. What started with weekly tequila shots at Yearbook Taco and terrible dancing at Escafe became one of Paul’s most dynamic friendships. Iceland may be far away, but Heimir always feels close by (lurking in his Panda costume).
Parents of the Groom
Linda and Joe celebrated 40 years of marriage this year and have an ever-growing family to show for it. With 6 grandkiddos (and #7 on the way), it seems they're always running around central Massachusetts for a dance recital, soccer game, or birthday celebration. Kevin attributes his sense of diplomacy and appreciation for public service from his father and his compassion and sense of creativity from his mother.
Parents of the Groom
Sue and Vito are living the good life in Summerville, SC, where Vito is king of the pickle ball court and Sue is queen bee of water aerobics. They’re both vibrant socialites, and at this point probably have more friends than Paul and Kevin do. Paul is happy to have inherited his caring nature from mom, and his goofy sense of adventure from dad.
Officiant
Joan entered Kevin and Paul’s lives in the summer of 2019 at the Georgetown waterfront while she was in town from Boulder, visiting her niece. A serendipitous conversation led to hours of drinking and bonding that grew into a beautiful long distance friendship, filled with FaceTimes, “Joancoming” trips to DC, and countless texts seeking advice on life’s daily tribulations. Kevin and Paul cherish their relationship with Joan and her husband Mike. (Shoutout to their daughter Izzy for co-conspiring the surprise!)
