Jay and Amy met July of 2023 in Austin, TX after coincidentally both moving there from North Carolina. On their first date, they bonded over traveling, food, sports, family and friends. They were so enamored with each other when they finally looked around, they realized it had been 4 hours and the relaxed bar they were sitting at had turned into a night club behind them. From then on, their worlds started to intertwine. They explored Austin together spending time on Lake Austin, going to concerts, Zilker Park with Ozzy, watching football on Saturdays, playing golf and pickleball, exploring restaurants, and perfecting their nigiri and pizza making skills. In February of 2024, they decided to explore Mexico City as their first trip together. They were in awe of how green the city was and fell in love with the culture, art, architecture and of course, the food scene. Fast forward to December of 2024, Jay had a job opportunity that brought him to Milwaukee, WI. After 3 months of long distance, Amy and Ozzy made the move from Austin to be with Jay in Milwaukee. Now, they want to bring family and friends together to make it official in Mexico City, on the exact date two years from when they first traveled there.
