8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
The evening before the wedding, we’ll be hosting relaxed pre-wedding drinks in Lucena city center. In true Spanish style, this will be a casual, informal gathering rather than a traditional seated rehearsal dinner. Join us for drinks and light bites in a laid-back setting. It’s a chance for everyone to mingle, get to know each other, and ease into the wedding weekend together. There is no formal dress code, think comfortable and casual (summer dresses, or a relaxed button-down with trousers). Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
12:00 pm - 11:00 pm
This is a daytime wedding in Spain, where the tradition is cocktail attire. For women, a cocktail-length or midi dress in festive colors works perfectly. Men typically wear a dark suit and tie. Feel free to add a hat or fascinator if you’d like to embrace the Spanish style!
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Lucena! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so keep in mind it will be hot during the day and should start to cool down in the evening. Spanish weddings usually run longer than in the US, so be ready to dance! Dinner, drinks, and plenty of Spanish-style celebrating will follow the ceremony. We can’t wait to share this special day with you!
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
The morning after the wedding, we invite you to join us for a relaxed brunch in Plaza Nueva, the heart of Lucena. This will be a casual, informal gathering at one of the cafés in the plaza. Guests are welcome to stop by at their convenience, enjoy a typical Spanish breakfast—toast with a variety of toppings, coffee, fresh juice, and more—and spend a bit more time together before the weekend comes to a close. There is no formal reservation or set menu; simply join us, find a seat, and order whatever you like. Casual attire is encouraged.
