Where is the wedding going to take place?
Answer
Our wedding will take place at The Clarendon Ballroom on September 22nd 2018 in Arlington, Virginia. The address for this facility is: 3185 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia 22201. This is also the site for our cocktail hour and reception. Each of these will take place directly following the wedding ceremony. Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Our wedding invitations are specifically for those who are noted on the invitations we send. No substitute guests, or additional guests are allowed. Our venue has space restrictions that we must abide by. Thank you for understanding.

Are children allowed?
Answer
We love kids! Children are included in the invitations we send to families. However, additional kids are not allowed, as we have venue restrictions. If questions arise, please contact Nathaniel, or Margaret directly. We highly encourage couples/guardians with children (included on the invitation) to take the "night off," and to get a babysitter at home if possible. If not possible, The Clarendon Ballroom has a space within the venue that will be turned into a "kids zone." There will be one or two babysitters depending on the number of children. Parents/guardians/children can take advantage of this space whenever they want during the reception, but are not obligated to stay there. However, we do ask that children are absolutely monitored and have them treat the venue respectfully as it, or the couple, are not responsible for any damages etc.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our invitations are asking for our guests to wear cocktail attire. Dress to impress, but if you don't like wearing tuxedo jackets, or stilettos-then don't feel the need. Our wedding is more on the formal side, but this formality can include various dress types---suits, nice slacks/dress shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses etc. If you have any questions, please just reach out to us personally.

What is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Planning a wedding is not for the faint of heart! We are stoked to share this special day with those we are choosing to share it with. The sooner we know people are able to come to the wedding, the better! Please be advised the RSVP deadline is August 22nd 2018. Thanks for getting those RSVP cards back to us as quickly as you can.

Why is the ceremony "unplugged?"
Answer
We are so excited to share our marriage with our guests. However, we feel the ceremony is a very special and sacred time, and are asking people to refrain from using their phones to take photographs or videos during the ceremony. We would love for people to be present. Professional photographers have been hired to help us document our day and photographs will be shared with the public when the time comes. Being respectful of our wishes is very important to us, and we would appreciate people's consideration. Guests can have at it, and take all the photographs and videos they want during the cocktail hour, reception, and any after party shenanigans. We are also asking for people to tap into enjoying the moment and not post photos or videos immediately onto social media pages. In fact, the bride and groom are working on a Facebook page where guests can share the moments they capture. Thanks for understanding.
