Bring a swimsuit, clothing layers, sunglasses, and life jacket if you have one.
The daily section of the Green River starts 8 miles up river from Swasey’s beach. Please meet us at Swasey’s beach at 10:00 am. This section of the Green River includes Class 2 rapids, so it is not a “lazy river”, it is a fun section of the river with small rapids! If you own a raft, inflatable kayak, kayak, or paddle board and want to bring it, please do so! Inner tubes are not well suited for this section of the river. Pack a lunch, booze, and sunscreen!
5:00 pm
Come for a very informal rehearsal dinner!
Stay tuned for details! We will have horseshoes, cornhole, glow-in-the-dark bocci, and maybe volleyball set up. Hang around the fire for as long as you would like :)
2:30 pm - 2:45 pm
For the wedding consider desert themed attire (Not a black tie affair, rather, a BOHO-CHIC affair *logan hates this wording haha*) and following our color palette, various shades of sagebrush green/blue and sandstone red. Think bolo ties, cowboy/girl boots/hats, sandals, or desert themed pocket squares...if that is your style ;)
Stay tuned for updates..... If you are staying at a hotel in town, please stay tuned for details about the shuttle service from Green River to Swasey’s beach. We are working to get a shuttle set up to the wedding and back to town when you are done for the night! It will hopefully be a bluebird, sunny day, and we will be outside exposed to the elements. Wear sunglasses and sunscreen, if you have an umbrella (for sun or for rain) and a rain jacket we encourage you to bring it just in case. Also bring clothing layers, it can be hot during the day and then the temps can drop pretty substantially at night.
2:45 pm - 4:45 pm
There will be some light bites in addition to cocktails and live music by Austin Black, Tori Anderson, and Joey Sandoval Lambert.
5:00 pm
Dinner shall be served! Don't forget to bring a warm layer, it might start to cool down around 5-7pm ish.
6:00 pm
Let's dance! Put on your red shoes (not stilettos because you will fall through the sand) and dance the blues
