Ground Transportation

Please note that Sisters is a rural area that does not have a demand for taxis and many transportation services went out of business during Covid. Coordinating a rental car with other wedding guests or booking by yourself is highly recommended to be able to get around for the weekend. We will be offering a shuttle to/from Black Butte and the venue for the wedding. We are able to offer a shuttle to the wedding for a limited number of people and from the venue back to BBR for more guests. Please notify the bride and/or groom if you'd like a spot on the shuttle. Head to the "Schedule" tab for more details about the shuttle Black Butte Ranch is a gated community. Please use code 55515# for entry through the gates to get onto the ranch. If staying on the Ranch, you can bypass host instructions and drive the Linda & Bill's house (13745 Ground Fir) to pick up a car registration pass.

Flight

Redmond Municipal Airport

RDM is the closest airport to the area, 30 minutes from Sisters and 40 minutes from Black Butte Ranch. While renting a car is ideal, shuttles are offered for a fee. Lyft/Uber is limited and may not be able to get onto the Ranch.

Flight

Portland International Airport

PDX is likely the cheaper airport to fly into in Portland, but is about a 3 hour drive to Black Butte Ranch. While renting a car is ideal, there is a bus option from PDX to Redmond or Bend.

House Or Rental

Black Butte Ranch

Staying at Black Butte Ranch is highly recommended - this is where the wedding party will be staying and hanging out. The Ranch offers condos, townhomes, homes, and cabins for rent, but book early. Shuttles to/from the Redmond Airport can also be organized, but having access to a car is necessary to get around the ranch. Please note that BBR is a private community and lyft/uber does not operate on the ranch. Check out the website for all of the amenities BBR offers. Places can be rented through BBR's website, AirBnb, VRBO, and Vacasa.

This is the closest lodging to our venue - about a half mile from Pole Creek Ranch's entrance. It has a few pet-friendly rooms too! We have a hotel block reserved - call and mention it's for the "Marshall-Mahony Wedding" and receive a small discount.

Best Western Ponderosa Lodge

About a mile from the venue's entrance! Bonus points for having alpacas on the property :) They also have pet friendly rooms!

House Or Rental

Cold Springs Resort & RV Park

Cold Springs Resort has nice cabins at reasonable prices. The cabins will be available to reserve 1 year in advance of the check out date, so assuming you check out Monday after the wedding, they will be available starting on 9/5/21. These cabins are pretty high demand so we recommend booking quickly if you would like to stay here.
