The Brazilian Real is hovering around 5:1 to the dollar.
There are ATMs in Brazil, and everywhere takes credit cards so you don’t need to bring much cash.
During COVID, the Brazilian government lifted a requirement for VISAs, so you *do not* need a VISA to get to Brazil.
Weather:
July in Brazil is “winter.” But it’s Salvador, so it will be humid and between 72 and 82 each day. You can definitely still go to the beach if it’s not raining. It will rain many days but not all day.
