What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
The dress code for the wedding day is Garden Chic. Since the ceremony and celebration will partly take place outdoors, we recommend dressing comfortably, but with elegance. Just no jeans, shorts, or sandals — let’s keep it beautiful yet relaxed! • For women: dresses, jumpsuits, or suits in the colour or pattern of your preference. Wedges or block heels are great options for walking on grass. • For men: Comfortable suits (not mandatory), or formal/semiformal pants with blazers. All in the colours and/or patterns of your preference. Shoes of your choice, as long as they’re not overly sporty. Please note that the terrain at the wedding venue is grassy and uneven. If it's more comfortable for you, feel free to bring an extra pair of shoes (like flats or sneakers) so you can switch if needed.

El código de vestimenta (dress code) para el día de la boda es Garden Chic. Como la ceremonia y celebración serán parcialmente al aire libre, les recomendamos vestirse con comodidad, pero con estilo. Por favor evitar jeans, shorts o sandalias. • Para mujeres: vestidos, enterizos o conjuntos elegantes con tonos y diseños de su preferencia. Los tacones anchos o corridos son ideales para caminar sobre césped. • Para hombres: Trajes cómodos (no obligatorio), o pantalones de vestir elegante o semi-elegante y blazers. Todo en los colores y diseños de su elección. Zapatos de su preferencia, incluso tenis, pero acorde con la ocasión. Sin embargo, se recomiendo llevar zapatos cómodos, tipo tenis para la celebración y los desplazamientos.

Is transportation provided on the Saturday?

Yes! We've got you covered: • If you're staying in the area, transportation will be arranged to and from the wedding location on Saturday, so you can enjoy yourselves and not worry about the way back. Please make sure to register where you are staying, either through the RSVP or by reaching out to us. • For guests travelling from Bogotá just for the day, we’re happy to help organise transportation to the venue and back. Please get in touch so we can coordinate the logistics. More information will be shared later.

Hemos pensado en todo: • Si se hospedan en la zona, contaremos con transporte desde y hacia el lugar de la boda el día sábado, de tal forma que todos puedan disfrutar en una forma más relajada. • Para quienes viajen desde Bogotá únicamente para el día sábado, con gusto les ayudaremos a organizar el transporte de ida y vuelta. Escríbannos para coordinar. Compartiremos más información logística más tarde.

What’s the weather like? What about the altitude?
Answer
January can be pleasant during the day, with temperatures ranging from 18–20°C and a warm, spicy sun when the skies are clear. However, once the sun sets, it can get chilly, with temperatures dropping to around 8–12°C. We recommend bringing a jacket or coat, especially for the evenings. The different venues used during the weekend are located at altitudes ranging from 2,600 to 3,000 m.a.s.l. (meters above sea level). If you aren’t a local or you are unaccustomed to high altitudes, we suggest arriving in either the surrounding area or Bogotá at least two days before the event. This will give your body enough time to adjust and allow you to enjoy the celebration comfortably. At these heights, make sure to drink enough water (more than 2 litres a day) and use sunscreen and/or a hat when exposed to the sunlight.

Enero en la zona suele ser agradable durante el día, con temperaturas que oscilan entre los 18 y 20 °C con un sol cálido y picante cuando el cielo está despejado. Sin embargo, al caer la noche, las temperaturas pueden a un rango entre 8 y 12 °C. Te recomendamos llevar una chaqueta o abrigo, especialmente para la noche. Las diferentes locaciones utilizadas durante el fin de semana se encuentran a alturas entre los 2,600 - 3.000 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Si no son de la región o no están acostumbrad@s a la altitud, les sugerimos llegar a los alrededores del evento o a Bogotá al menos con dos días de anticipación. Esto les dará el tiempo necesario para aclimatarse y disfrutar de la celebración con mayor comodidad. A esta altura se recomienda que consuman suficiente agua (más de 2 litros por día), así como el uso de protector solar y/o de sombrero cuando se expongan a la luz solar.

We have carefully prepared our guest list and made decisions based on the people we knew and loved at the time of planning. This means that, unfortunately, not all partners or additional guests are included. To avoid confusion, please refer to the RSVP section of this website — the guests listed there are the ones we are expecting to attend. We are sorry to hear this! But no worries. We have had a few small hiccups with this part, but it is easy to fix. Try searching using: Your first name (or first + middle name, if you have one) Your last name (one or both, if you have two) Your partner’s name, if you were invited with one (using the suggestions above) If none of these bring up a match, just reach out to us directly and we will sort it out together.
