We know that being here with us already takes effort and expense, and we’re deeply grateful. We also already have plenty of kitchenware, linens, and other traditional things you might find on a wedding registry. So please believe us when we say that gifts are absolutely not expected. If you’d like to contribute anyway, our registry includes only a honeymoon fund and charitable organizations that are meaningful to us and worthy of your donations.

The Good Beginning
We are honored by your generosity. In lieu of wedding gifts, we are encouraging our guests to consider donating to either of two charitable organizations that are important to us. Cancer has had a profound impact on both of us; Josh lost his first wife Amanda to breast cancer at the age of 36, and Gretta lost her brother Ben to glioblastoma at just 28. Supporting research to combat these diseases means helping fund the discoveries that can change—and save—lives. It’s our way of turning our love into action and honoring the people we’ve lost.
