Very close friends of Jonah's family own this excellent burrito spot and his Dad, Mel, built the bar! Good for meat lovers and veggie heads alike. Try the Pescado burrito.
Weaver Street Market
The Weave! A central hangout spot in Carrboro. Great natural food grocery store with a food bar and quality wine, bread, and cheese with outdoor seating. Think local, homegrown (and better!) Whole Foods.
Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe
A beloved community staple, especially for the vegetarian and vegan crowd, Vimala's has delicious Indian fare that everyone will love. Vimala prides herself on serving anyone who is hungry, regardless of their ability to pay. As Vimala is a good friend of the groom's family, you'll find Mel's handiwork at this restaurant, as well (Mel builds lots of things, in case that wasn't apparent).
Caffè Driade
This coffee shop slash fairy forest getaway is a unique wonder. Grab a delicious cappuccino or a scone and wind your way from the front patio back into the woods, where you'll find benches and string lights. There's no place like it. Note: This is the only spot on the list not walking distance from the hotel.
Orange County Social Club
Local bar with a pool table and strong cocktails. You can catch the bride and groom here on Friday night!
Acme Food & Beverage Co
This lovely restaurant has great ambiance, and is a little more upscale than other options. Many of our friends have worked or currently work at this delicious restaurant. The specials are always good.
