We've both traveled a fair amount around the United States individually and together. We wanted our first big trip as husband and wife to be a destination that neither one of us had been to before, and some place that felt special and like a trip of a lifetime! So New Zealand it is!
With its beaches, glaciers, mountains and rolling hills, it is the ideal place for us to explore! We'll get to enjoy relaxing days on the beach, fun winery tours, and also plenty of adventure! Most of our time will likely be seeking out mountains to hike, glaciers to traverse, caves to dive into and bodies of water to swim and play in! We'll also throw in some backpacking so we get to camp in the most remote areas :)
We can't wait to spend a few weeks this winter (their summer!) out in the vast wilderness that is New Zealand!
