We know it's bit of a trek and we so appreciate you coming out to celebrate! East coasters might choose to drive up, but many of you will be flying, so we'd recommend flying into Bangor (1st choice - it's closer) or Portland (a bit further, but probably cheaper). You'll definitely want a car to get around as well.
We've put together a list of some recommended places to stay (see below). Our reception will be right outside of downtown Bar Harbor (about a 20 minute walk or 3 minute car ride), so keep that in mind when booking your accommodations. There are many beautiful areas of Mount Desert Island, though, so feel free to stay somewhere other than Bar Harbor if you don't mind a longer drive to/from Sols Cliff!
