We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you at our reception!

One of our favorite things to do together is to travel and hike around State and National Parks, so when we were considering places to get married, we both knew it had to be in a park! Doug has been to Mount Desert Island/Acadia NP a handful of times, sometimes for hiking trips, other times to run a marathon, and loved it each and every time. Gina's first time there was last fall on our New England road trip and fell in love with it immediately. Something important to both of us is that there is plenty to do and see for everyone attending our reception - and Acadia checks that box for sure! Some of the most gorgeous views in the park are easily accessible by car, there are tons of hiking and biking trails of varying levels of difficulty, there is plenty of water for kayaking/canoeing, and then there are tours for whalewatching and birdwatching! Bar Harbor also has the cutest little downtown area with lots of restaurants and bars (fingers crossed they're open and COVID is a fading reality). We're so excited to share this wonderful trip with you as we embark on our adventure as a married couple!
