We first met "studying" abroad in the beautiful city of Budapest in 2017. We met in class, in a coffee shop, in a club, in that order, of course. Gillian politely declined Will's invite to travel to Israel and Jordan together but accepted his back up plan to go on a weekend jaunt to Slovenia. We first held hands walking around Lake Bled in Slovenia. And we got our first speeding ticket on the drive home (Gillian was driving).
We've been inseparable ever since. We navigated long distance for the final 1.5 years of college as Gillian was in upstate New York and Will in southern California. Despite being two Bay Area kids, we've lived in Baltimore, DC, New York, and Philadelphia since college. California is home though, and we're so excited to celebrate in Carmel with everyone soon <3
