Due to afternoon heat and limited parking, we recommend starting hikes by 8:00 AM whenever possible. Emerald Bay State Park — Scenic trails including Cascade Falls, Eagle Falls, and parts of the Rubicon Trail, many around 2 miles round trip. Mount Tallac — A popular summit hike with panoramic lake views, approximately 7 miles round trip. Monkey Rock Trail / Tunnel Creek Trail — Moderate hike with beautiful overlooks near Incline Village. Van Sickle Bi-State Park — Trails directly behind Heavenly Village with sweeping lake views. Floating Island & Cathedral Lakes Trail — 4.6 miles round trip with 800 ft. elevation gain.

Anderson's Bicycle Rental — A popular starting point for exploring the paved Pope Baldwin Bike Path, a scenic 3.6-mile paved ride with stops along the way including Kiva Beach, Pope Beach, Camp Richardson for lakeside dining, and the Taylor Creek Visitor Center.
