Querétaro (QRO) or León (BJX) Airport
The easiest way to get to San Miguel de Allende is to fly into Querétaro (QRO) or León (BJX) airport, and then book your group or private transfer for the 1 hour 15 min car ride into San Miguel de Allende. You can also fly into Mexico City (CDMX). The ride to San Miguel is 3.5 hours. Shuttle services and private drivers should be booked in advance. Information below. We do not recommend renting a car. San Miguel de Allende is extremely walkable and taxis/Uber are readily available in town.

AirBnB Apartment and Villa List
Our personal favorite way to experience San Miguel is to stay in a quintessential colonial villa or modern apartment through AirBnB. We compiled a list of AirBnB properties within a close radius of our venue, Casa Hyder. Or, feel free to find your own favorite -- there are tons! We find this option gives you the most bang for your buck. The average cost per bedroom ranges between $100-200 per room/night and you get all the amenities of a house. Many of the properties have pools, rooftop patios, gardens and courtyards, etc.
